Years on the decks

Joseph started on a borrowed controller in a Gemmayzeh basement in 2010, playing to rooms that fit forty people. The rooms got bigger. The approach did not change: show up early, learn the space, and build the night from what the crowd actually gives back.
A long residency in Beirut's club scene taught him the discipline — six hours a night, no set list, reading a floor that turns over three times before closing. Weddings taught him the opposite skill: precision. A first dance happens once, at the right moment, at the right volume, or it does not happen at all.
Since 2015 the work has travelled. Destination weddings in Paris, Limassol and Monaco. Corporate launches across the Gulf. Festival stages in Byblos and Batroun. The passport fills up, but the brief is always the same one.
Along the way the operation grew past one person and a pair of decks. Today Joseph also designs sound systems, plots lighting and directs technically for events that need a full build — with a crew he has worked alongside for the better part of a decade.
